RESOURCES
MY FAVORITE SEWING TOOLS
Iron with steam function (I have something similar to this)
Wool iron mat - I have a ironing mat I use for clothes but this is a smaller mat that I can place on the table for small sewing/quilting projects.
Sewing gauge - for measuring hems
Clover clips - MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! I use this for everything especially hems. Imagine sewing a sleeve with a million pins everywhere…clips are so much easier.
Madam Sew’s seam guide - this is genius!
Pinking shears - I don’t have a serger (yet ;)) so I use pinking shears to keep fabric from fraying.
Pin cushion - love this!
MY FAVORITE QUILTING TOOLS
Rotary cutting set - I prefer the 36x48 mat but this is such an amazing price since you get the acrylic ruler and rotary cutter with it
Hexagon 3inch hole punch - for hexie projects (I will be releasing my own Skillshare class VERY soon. Click here to join the list to be one of the first to know when it’s released.)
FAVORITE LEARNING RESOURCES
Skillshare (some of my favorite classes are from Mr. Tom Froese, Dylan Mierzwinski, Denise Bayron, Bonnie Christine, Kiley Bennett & Elizabeth Olwen)
SewIt Academy - by far my favorite so far in learning how to sew from scratch. Mimi is incredible and such an amazing teacher.
